This post is part two in our short “Take Me to Paris!” series about fun for kids in Paris, Illinois. Click HERE to read about Part 1–our trip to the beach!
We took this little road trip to Paris with our neighborhood play group, and originally our only destination was the Tiger Falls Splash Pad. (The beach was a fun afterthought!)
The Paris Splash Pad was a colorful attraction with plenty of buckets, waterfalls, and fountains for kids to enjoy. At the advice of a friend, we brought our own water squirters, scoops, and buckets.
Kids of all ages are welcome to play, but I noticed that kids ages 4 and up seemed to have the most fun.
The Tiger Falls Splash Park opens on Memorial Day weekend. Hours are 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily. Remember, Paris operates on CENTRAL time! So in “Indiana Time” (EST) the hours are 10 a.m.-10 p.m. daily.
Until we get a splash pad of our own in Terre Haute, we have to travel for this sort of fun. Thankfully, Paris isn’t too far! I think budgeting 40 minutes each direction is a safe bet.
