I thought last week was going to be the best week ever in Terre Haute, but this week holds lots of promise as well.
What could be better than a little Frank Sinatra and the Rat Pack? The Rat Pack singing Christmas songs! Coming to Tilson on Wednesday night.
On Thursday, there are holiday crafts for kids at the library from 4:00-6:00 p.m.
Friday is the first night for the planetarium holiday show. Have you ever been? We haven’t, but it sounds awesome! $4 for adults and $2 for children. Dates, times, and details on our calendar.
Saturday morning there’s plenty going on with Breakfast with Santa at the YMCA, Christmas Fun at the Woods, and, of course, Clabber Girl Country Christmas. More on Clabber Girl Country Christmas below.
On the 14th and 15th, Santa will be available for pictures at Deming Park from 5-8 pm. Pictures are $1, and you’re welcome to bring your own camera!
Featured Event: Clabber Girl Country Christmas
Clabber Girl Country Christmas is another one of those “must-attend” Christmas events in Terre Haute. As of right now, there are still a few tickets available for breakfast with Santa. However, if you’re not one of the lucky ones to snag a coveted breakfast ticket, there’s still plenty of fun! Santa will arrive on a horse-drawn carriage and be ready to take pictures in his sleigh. Children can enjoy stories read by Mrs. Claus and participate in holiday arts and crafts with Santa’s helpers. Carriage rides and strolling carolers will top off this holiday event! Admission is FREE, but there are a few activities and crafts that require tickets.
Here’s the fun part, Clabber Girl has offered two Haute Happenings readers $5 gift certificates for Clabber Girl Country Christmas activities. The ticketed activities don’t cost much, so $5 will buy you plenty of fun. Wanna win? Enter using the rafflecopter below! We have a brand new twitter account, so your entries help spread the word about Haute Happenings!
Clabber Girl Country Christmas is December 14, 2013 from 10-4PM.
