February 5. Families are invited to stop by the main branch of the Vigo County Public Library by Friday, February 5 to make a valentine for veterans.
February 12. Paint and Play at the Terre Haute Children’s Museum. Ages 5 and up. 1-3 p.m. $20 per person. Register via 812-235-5548.
February 12. Sweethearts Night Out Without Kids. Couples may enjoy Valentine’s Day together by bringing their children to this FREE childcare program. Please register by February 5.
February 12 and 13. Shattered Nightmares Haunted House presents “My Bloody Nightmare.”
February 13. Barnes and Noble Valentine’s Day party. Free of charge! Ages 3-10. Make crafts and have treats. 2 p.m.-4 p.m.
February 13. “Love Letters from God.” Story time at The Open Door Christian book store. 10:30 a.m. or 2:30 p.m. $1 per child. Story, craft, and treats.
February 13. Take your date to Chick Fil A! Dine with your valentine at a table set especially for you. Your meal is your only cost. Reservations required.
February 14. Instead of obsessing over hugs, kisses, and couples, middle schoolers have the chance to hang out at the museums “Buddy Bash” on Valentine’s Day. $15 for two kids if you register in advance.
February 14. Love is back at the castle! Make your reservations for a sit-down, candlelit dinner at White Castle.
February 19. Older kids and adults might enjoy Street Beat at Tilson.
