9 Holiday and Christmas Parades in Terre Haute and the Wabash Valley

As the season changes, we’re busy working on over a dozen holiday posts! These posts remind us that it is TRULY the most wonderful time of the year!

To kick off the holiday fun, today we’re sharing our list of 2021 Wabash Valley holiday parades. Because what better way to kick off the season than by watching Santa float into town? (Don’t forget! Our nearby neighbors in IL operate on CENTRAL time.)

Wabash Valley Holiday Parades

Friday, November 19. Welcome Santa to Haute City Center mall.

Friday, November 26. Christmas in the Park parade in Brazil, IN. This year the Parade of Lights begins at 7:00 in front of the Courthouse on National Avenue in Brazil, and will travel from Alabama Street west to Depot Street. There will be FREE hot chocolate and cookie from 5-7pm at the Clay County Courthouse  After the parade is over, Forest Park will be “lit up” at 9:00pm, after the “Gift of Christmas” Fireworks Show in the park at 9pm.

Saturday, November 27.  Lighted Parade in Paris, IL. Parade begins with the lighting of the Christmas Tree. Central Time.

Sunday, November 28. Although it’s not an official parade, Santa will be arriving by fire truck at the Meadows at noon as part of the Christmas at Meadows event. He will arrive by firetruck at 11 am. Photos with Santa will be taken until 5 pm. For the rest of the holiday season, Santa will be posted up at The Meadows on Fridays between 4 pm-7 pm and Saturdays and Sundays between 12 pm-5 pm.

Friday, December 3. Candy Canes on Main Lighted Parade in Casey, IL. This year’s Candy Canes on Main event in Casey kicks off with a lighted parade. Want to know more about visiting Casey? Read our article all about “The Big Things in a Small Town” HERE.

Saturday, December 4. Miracle on 7th street is BACK! The parade will float through downtown Terre Haute on Saturday night at 6pm in Terre Haute.

Saturday, December 4. Cookies with Santa and Holiday Parade in Putnam County.

Saturday, December 4. Christmas Parade in CLOVERDALE, IN. Candy Canes and Christmas Carols is the theme for this year’s Christmas Parade.

Saturday, December 11. Parade of Lights in Martinsville, IL. The 10th Annual, 2021 Parade of Lights will be held on December 11, 2021. This annual event is brought to you each year in Martinsville by the Martinsville Fire Ladies Auxiliary.
