As the season changes, we’re busy working on over a dozen holiday posts that will all come out in November! These posts remind us that it is TRULY the most wonderful time of the year!
To kick off the holiday fun, today we’re sharing our list of 2018 Wabash Valley holiday parades. Because what better way to kick off the season than by watching Santa float into town?

Wabash Valley Holiday Parades
November 16. Santa’s Arrival Parade at the Honey Creek Mall in Terre Haute, IN. Join us Friday, November 16th, from 6pm – 8pm as we welcome Santa to Honey Creek Mall for this year’s holiday season! Santa and Mrs. Claus will arrive by parade, led by the Terre Haute South Marching Band!Enjoy performances by the band, make your own Santa themed crafts, refreshments courtesy of Auntie Anne’s and more.
November 23. 7:00 p.m. Christmas Parade in Brazil, Indiana.Christmas In The Park theme for the 2018 Parade is “Silver Bells!” and this happens to be our 25th Year Anniversary! Join us at the park after the parade for fireworks!
November 24. 6:30 p.m. (CENTRAL TIME!) Lighted Parade in Paris, IL.The parade route is Main Street and Central Street between Crawford St and Wood Street.
November 30. Lighted Parade on Candy Canes on Main in Casey, IL. This year’s event will kick off with a lighted parade. Want to know more about visiting Casey? Read our article all about “The Big Things in a Small Town” HERE.
December 1. 1:00 p.m. Christmas Parade in CLOVERDALE, Indiana. Bring your family to enjoy the parade full of Christmas Memories! Immediately afterward come see Santa in his house across from the fire department. Free pictures with Santa!
December 1. Lighted Christmas parade in Farmersburg. Santa will make his way down Main Street starting at 7th and Main, heading east to first street and ending at the Firehouse. Please stop by to visit with Santa, enjoy a cup of warm cocoa and receive a treat bag.
December 1. Christmas Parade in Marshall, IL. The “Parade of Lights” will be coming to downtown Marshall on December 1st for Holly Days.
December 8. The 2018 Parade of Lights will be held on December 8, 2018 in Martinsville, IL (29 miles from Terre Haute). We invite you bring your family and enjoy magical holiday tradition. Children of all ages are invited to the Martinsville Fire Hall after the parade for cookies, hot chocolate, and a visit with some very special friends!
December 8. 6 p.m. Light Your Way Christmas Parade in Downtown Terre Haute. This lighted Christmas parade in Terre Haute will begin at the intersection of 5th Street and Wabash Avenue, heading east on Wabash and continuing until 9 ½ Street. The area between 5th and 6th Streets will be a sensory friendly block, with no music and material handouts instead of candy.
