Tuesday, June 21. Be a Junior Cadet with the Northview Marching Nights. Dance and guard camp with a routine performance at the 4th of July Celebration. 

Thursday, June 23. Stranger Things Trivia at WaterTower Estates. Grab an exclusive “Upside Down” Pineapple wine slushee, bring your crew, and join this Thursday at 6 pm!

Thursday, June 23. VCSC Performing Arts Workshop presents Dirty Laundry. This show turns something as mundane as laundry baskets into absolutely delightful musical theatre bursting with laughter, love and plenty of dirty laundry.

Saturday, June 25. Wine on the Wabash. Summer tunes and wine at Fairbanks Park. 

Saturday, June 25. Sixth Street Arts Fest. Musical theater, jazz, Beatles tribute, drumming circle, and more! 

Saturday, June 25. Summertime Craft Fair at the Wabash Activity Center.

Monday, June 27. One year anniversary of Ferm Fresh. Ribbon cutting, specialty kombucha flavors, and Ferm Fresh favorites.

Wednesday, June 1. Summer Reading Kick-Off with the Vigo County Public Library. Ages 0-15: Slip and slide into Summer Reading with the best party ever—a foam party! Play in the blast from the Foam Homies’ foam cannon, toss around beach balls, and dance to the music. Before the party ends, sign up for the 2022 Summer Reading Program and select a free book to take home. 

Thursday, June 2. Waterworld at the Moon Lite. Free admission courtesy of the Vigo County Public Library. 

Friday, June 3-June 5. 2022 Rosedale Strawberry Festival.  Live music, talent show, pet parade, food and craft vendors. 

Friday, June 3. Plant and Pour workshop with District 6 Market and WaterTower Estates. During this hands-on class, guests will create a Happy Hummingbird planter, planting varieties of flowers sure to draw the hummingbirds in! A personalized shopping experience to choose flowers will be provided, followed by a walk-through demonstration as you transplant your unique arrangement into a 12” planter. One free glass of wine is included in the ticket price for you to sip during class, and WaterTower Estates will be selling wine by the glass or bottle, as well as their crowd favorite wine slushees! 

Saturday, June 4. “Rooted in Pride” festival with the Terre Haute Pride Center. 

Saturday, June 4. Watch Luca in the park! Bring your family, friends, blankets, and chairs, and join us for Vigo County Parks & Recreation Department’s Movie in the Park Summer series with DeeJay Danny Wayne! Concessions for purchase begin at 9 p.m. Movie starts at SUNDOWN (approximately 9:30 p.m.).

Saturday, June 4. Opening Day of the outdoor market in Parke County. 

Saturday, June 4. Rummage at the Market with CASA. 9 am – 1 pm. If you have items that you are wanting to donate, bring them to The Meadows parking lot from 8 am- 9 am that day.

Monday, June 6. First day of Vacation Bible School with Central Presbyterian Church. Central Presbyterian is be hosting a VBS program “Water All Around the World” this June! This program is made available through Living Waters for the World, a nonprofit dedicated to providing clean and safe water for all. This is a FREE program that will run June 6th through 10th from 9am to 12pm. It is open to children ages 3 through those entering 5th grade in the coming school year. 

Tuesday, June 7. FREE admission in the evening at the Marshall Community Pool. 

Wednesday, June 8. Watch Luca at the Vigo County Public Library. Free snacks, free drinks, free admission. 

Wednesday, June 8. Teen Movie: The Goonies at the Vigo County Public Library. Ages 12–19: When Mikey Walsh finds an old doubloon and a mysterious map in his parents’ attic, he rallies his group of misfit friends to find the treasure and prevent their homes from being destroyed to make room for an expanding country club. But they aren’t the only ones who want the treasure, and the Fratelli family is willing to do whatever it takes to get their hands on it first. Rated PG.

June 4, 5, 11, and 12. Dinosaur Adventure Train with the French Lick Scenic Railway. 

Thursday, June 9. Terre Haute Strawberry Fest. Sidewalk café or carryout available! New this year: Children’s Tent with crafts and face-painting.

Friday, June 10. Painting with Nicole at the Vigo County Public Library. Ages 5–15: Whether your child is a seasoned artist or a first-time painter, they can learn the basics of working with acrylic paint, develop their hand-eye coordination, explore their creativity, and take home their very own painting on canvas.

June 10 and June 11. Clay City Pottery Summer Festival. Come out June 10th and 11th for our summer festival! We will have hand turners, pottery demos, tours, handcrafted vendors, and food trucks! We will have some new summer inventory out for you to check out as well!

Saturday, June 11. Celebrate the relaunch of Girls of Excellence Mentoring (G.E.M.) at the Vigo County Public Library. 

Saturday, June 11. Wow in the World on wheels will be right here in Terre Haute in front of the Terre Haute Children’s Museum! 

Saturday, June 11. Royalty Event at JCPenney Salon. All royal participants are invited to dress up as their favorite princess or prince for shampoo, style, nails, and pictures. 

Saturday, June 11. Kids’ Day at the Farmers’ Market! Come out and play with some of our community’s organizations who serve young people, like the Vigo County Public Library, The Swope, and more! We’ll have great activities for the kiddos, and you can pick up information about summer programs to keep your kids busy all summer. Join the fun, and visit all of our great vendors, at the Meadows from 8:00 – noon!

Saturday, June 11. Empathy Builders LGBTQIA+ Rights with the Pride Center and the Vigo County Public Library. Introduce your children to how other families’ experiences and situations differ from their own lives

Saturday, June 11.  Renegade Monster Truck Tour at the Terre Haute Action Track. 

Sunday, June 12. Disney Night at the District. The Disney themed class will be a fun family workout that will be toned down to accommodate kids of all ages. Join us June 12 at 4 to workout to some of the best Disney music and get the kids moving!

Monday, June 13. Food Truck Party VBS with Memorial United Methodist Church. Welcome to our 4 day VBS event, 9 am to 12pm This event is for preschool (age 3) through 5th grade. We will have some fun stations for the kids with loads of fun activities during the week. On Thursday at pickup come join your kids for lunch and including an Ice Cream Truck!

Friday, June 17. Foam party at the Wigwam Skate Center. 

Friday, June 17. Kick off for Terre Haute Day in honor of Juneteenth. Join family and friends as we celebrate black history & excellence in Terre Haute, Ind. 

Saturday, June 18. Pirate Party with costume contest for ages 21 and up with the Vigo County Public Library. 

Saturday, June 18. Pirate Party Mini Mateys. Ages 0-12: Are you ready to parrrrrrty like a pirate? Climb aboard an inflatable pirate ship, hunt for treasure along the forbidden shorelines, and be marked as a true pirate with a temporary tattoo! Get the whole family involved with games and grub fit for you and your crew.

Saturday, June 18. Summer in the Village at Fowler Park. Join us for Summer in the Village as our Pioneers open their cabins for all to explore.

Sunday, June 19. Vigo County History Center Juneteenth Freedom Celebration. A celebration of Freedom will take place at the Vigo County History Center on Sunday June 19, 2022 in honor of Juneteenth. The History Center is proud of our local African American history and invites the public to join the celebration on June 19 from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm at the History Center at 929 Wabash Avenue. The free event will offer guided tours through the museum’s Black history exhibits as well as a historical production written by Crystal Mikell Reynolds PhD.

If your child would like to play in the Fall of 2022 and/or Spring 2023 with our partners at Terre Haute Premier and Vigo County Youth Soccer Association, it’s time to register for evaluations/tryouts!
