Wed Dec 11. 7pm-8:30pm. Crosley Radio Players’ Christmas Show. Get into the Christmas Spirit and join us Dec 11th for the Annual Crosley Radio Players Christmas Show. This year’s show will be Charles Dickens “A Christmas Carol.” As always we will serve finger foods and our Crosley Punch. Tickets are available now at the Center (300 S. 5th Street) For more info call 812-232-3245. As always seating is limited so get your tickets soon so you do not miss out!
Thur Dec 12.Christmas Open House at Bethesda Gardens. Meet Santa and one of his elves along with one of HIS REINDEER! 5:30-7:30. Reindeer and Elf will be available for photo ops from 5:30-6:30 There will also be Cookie decorating, crafts and much more for the whole family!
Fri Dec 13.Ornament Decorating with Santa’s Elves. Ages: 5-12. Pre-Registration Required 812-232-0147. Christmas Snacks will be provided during the decorating fun! Drop off is at the Torner Center in Deming Park.
Fri Dec 13, 14, 15.Journey to Bethlehem Outdoor Live Nativity at Soul Harvest Church in Cloverdale. Friends and families will take a walk back in time to the town of Bethlehem, where they will visit merchants, the Inn and a travel to a live nativity where our Savior was born.Please choose the specific 20 minute time slot you would like to sign-up for.Please arrive 15 mins earlier then your time slot you have signed up for. This event is outdoors, please accommodate for walking and weather.
Fri Dec 13. Hey, kids, let’s give the grown ups a night off while we have loads of fun! Join us for pizza, games, crafts, treats, and “The Grinch” movie. Kids ages 6 weeks – 5th grade are welcome. We are asking for a minimum of $10 per child as this is a fundraising event for The Life Center youth ministry.
Sat Dec 14. 9:00 a.m. Breakfast with Santa at Clay County YMCA Stop by the Y for this free holiday event with our very own Santa! Children will have the opportunity to take a picture, share their Christmas list, enjoy breakfast, crafts and more at this free festive event at the Y.
Sat Dec 14. Join the Vigo County YMCA for a community Christmas celebration! Children will have the opportunity to visit with Santa at no charge. For a $2 donation family members can enjoy a pancake breakfast! And for an additional $3, take part in a variety of activities including make your own teacher gift, bring presents for Y volunteers to wrap for the holidays, create a Christmas craft, make a Christmas card for those in need and more!
Sat Dec 14.Reindeer games with special visit from Santa in Brazil. This hour long family event is on Saturday, December 14 at 10:00am and features games, singing & dancing Reindeer, selfies with Santa, crafts and holiday snacks! Perfect for all ages, children must be accompanied by an adult and all attendees must have a ticket. Tickets are available at www.northviewband.org beginning Saturday, December 7 at 9am or from any guard member. Bring your camera!
This season you can read to Rover, perform holiday karaoke, and watch a FREE movie at the drive-in thanks to our friends and partners at the Vigo County Public Library! Find details here!
Sun Dec 15. 1:30 p.m. Rose Holiday Pops Concert. Join the Rose-Hulman concert band, choir, symphony, and jazz ensemble as they perform your favorite holiday classics to kick off the season! You won’t want to miss this annual favorite! This event is FREE and open to the public!
Sun Dec 15.The Polar Express at the Moon Lite Drive-in. All Ages: Wear your pajamas and cozy up in the car as a family to watch The Polar Express to get into the holiday spirit. Gates open at 4:30 p.m. and the film starts at 6:00 p.m. Each car receives FREE admission and a complimentary popcorn. Hosted by the Vigo County Public Library!
Mon Dec 16. 6-8 pm. The Gift of Time Together at Terre Haute Chick-fil-A. During the Holiday hustle bustle we sometimes need a reminder to slow down and focus on what this season is truly about. We would love to provide you with the opportunity to slow down and enjoy dinner and live music with the people you love. No reservations are required, come as you are.
Tues Dec 17. 9:30. Tot Time at the Terre Haute Children’s Museum.From mountain tops to tree tops, stars in the sky, bells ringing and ornament making there are shapes all around this time of year. Your Tot will not want to miss this chance to discover all the holiday shapes.Tot Time is an interactive, educational program for children ages 2-5 and their caregiver that includes story time, hands-on learning activities, and an opportunity to explore museum exhibits afterwards.
Thurs Dec 19. 11:00 a.m. Munch & Mingle Celebrate the Season at Vigo County YMCA. Celebrate the season with games with friends and your favorite holiday dish. Non Members can join for the price of a day pass ($8 adult/$5 youth) and the $2 event fee.
Sat Dec 21. 9:30. Baby Explorer: Sounds of the Season. We are going to shake and jingle with holiday fun. Come meet other parents as we ring in the holiday season. Baby Explorer is for ages 0- 2 and their caregiver. Engage with your little explorer to nurture early learning through play in a welcoming environment full of socialization opportunities. Your child will learn to interact with you while also learning about our amazing world.
Sat Dec 21-Sun Dec 22.Christmas Cookie Walk at Baesler’s. Did someone say, “Christmas Cookies”?! Join us for our second annual Christmas Cookie Walk! Our Cookie Walk will feature a large assortment of bakery-made cookies ready to be hand selected and put in a container. Cookies will be sold by the pound and you will be able to mix and match your own holiday selection! They make a great gift for office friends, neighbors, shut-ins and are perfect for your holiday parties!
Tues Dec 31.Noon Year’s Eve Party at the Brazil Public Library. Join us for our Annual Noon Year’s Eve Party for ages 13 and younger. From 11am-1pm at the library. Please RSVP by December 28th so we can finalize the details.
Tues Dec 31. New Year’s Eve Lunch Drop-In at Terre Haute Friendship House. We’ll provide lunch and some festivities as we celebrate what God has done in 2019 at the Terre Haute Friendship House!
Tues Dec 31. 10 am-2 pm. New Year’s Noon at the Terre Haute Children’s Museum. Are you ready for a rockin’ New Year’s Eve party? Join the Terre Haute Children’s Museum on Tuesday, Dec. 31, for its New Year’s Noon Celebration — the best kid-friendly party in town! The Museum will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Tuesday, but you’ll want to get to the Museum early to make your crowns and noisemakers, because at noon we’ll be ringing in the New Year with a balloon drop, dance party, and karaoke! Kids don’t have to stay up till midnight to celebrate! Welcome the New Year at Noon, kid-style!

Elf Games at the Terre Haute Children’s Museum.You’ve heard of reindeer games that help train Santa’s favorite animals, but now you can participate in Elf Games to train to be one of Santa’s Elves! Navigate your way throughout the museum and master all ten challenges.
Mondays 10:00 a.m. Tiny Tot Timeat Vigo County Main Library. Ages 0 – 24 months: Bring your baby to the library for stories, songs, dance, and activities.
Tuesdays. 1:00 p.m. Art Start at the Swope. Young artists are invited to experience this free art program. We will be reading a book and doing a related art project. For children ages three to five accompanied by an adult. Located at the Swope Education Center, enter from Ohio Street.
Tuesdays (except 24). 6:00 p.m. Free Game Night at Pizza King. Try out some modern board games – Fun for all ages! A host from Robinwood Games will be on hand to help teach the games and answer questions.
Wednesdays (except 25). 10:00-11:00 a.m. Wiggle Worm Wednesdays at Vigo County Main Library. Ages 2-5: Bring your preschooler to the Library for interactive stories, songs, dancing, crafts and play!
Thursdays (except 26). 6:00 p.m. Books Before Bedtime at Vigo County Main Library. Bring your children ages 0-5 for this evening storytime. Wear your pajamas to the library for stories, songs, and crafts before bedtime! This event will vary each week from traditional story time, to art-based activities, to music-making, and everything in between!
Fridays (except 13). 10:30 a.m. Ready to Read Storytime at Vigo County Library West Branch. Ages 0-5: Sing along to music, move your bodies with egg shakers and scarves, hear stories and participate in crafts or playtime. Parents and caregivers are invited to participate with their children during this story time.
Sundays. 3:00 p.m. Smash Sundays at Full Moon Games. Venue Fee: $3.00. Top players will receive store credit based on attendance that can be used at Full Moon Games or Footers Pizza.
Sundays. 5:30 p.m. Free Community Dinner. Hosted by Supper at the Center. Sponsored by Highland-Church at the West Vigo Community Center. Everyone is welcome!

Sun Dec 1. 5-7 pm. Jingle Jam-Unboxed. Join Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church for a family-centered Christmas experience focusing on how we can have JOY no matter what’s going on around us because God made a way for us to have a relationship with Jesus! Jingle Jam will begin in our Worship Center with a crazy Christmas show and end in the fellowship center with a pizza party followed by the opportunity to spread some Christmas joy by doing some special service projects! We will need a firm count on who is attending for our pizza order.
Mon Dec 2.Yarn truck in Terre Haute. Yarn and beer?! A match made in heaven 🙂 We’re bringing our yarn shop on wheels back to Terre Haute for our regular first Monday stop at Mogger’s.
Mon Dec 2. 5:30. Annual Candy Cane Hunt in Deming Park. Ages: 2-4 & 7-9 will kickoff at 5:30 p.m. Ages: 5-6 & 10-12 will kickoff shortly after the first group. There will be a few prize candy canes in each age group.
Tues Dec 3.Kids, Cookies, and Canvas at the Dawgleg Restaurant at Idle Creek Golf Course. Just in time for the Holidays!! Make some memories with the kiddos, while they create a canvas painting, maybe for a gift! We will also enjoy homemade cookies, snacks, and lots of fun! Fee: $15.00 per child.
Fri Dec 6. 7:30 p.m. Twas the Night Before Christmas at Hatfield Hall. Don’t miss this enjoyable, new family holiday tradition. Kid friendly. Tickets start at $20.
Fri Dec 6. Terre Haute Children’s Choir will be joining the Farrington Grove Chorale at 6 pm at 1st Congregational Church.
Fri Dec 6 and Sat Dec 7. Miracle on 7th Street. It’s no secret that Terre Haute residents LOVE Miracle on 7th Street. And what’s not to love?! Terre Haute residents often call the annual Miracle on 7th Street the “official” kick-off to the holidays. This year there will be ice skating, hot chocolate, unique gifts, Elf Games at the Terre Haute Children’s Museum, and SANTA! But the real Miracle isn’t the excitement of the holiday season or even the annual Light Your Way parade down the center of Wabash Avenue–it’s what Miracle provides for people in our community. Fri Dec 6 (6-9pm) and Sat Dec 7 (5-9 pm).Fowler Park’s Pioneer Village Christmas Walk. FREE ADMISSION! This year’s Christmas Walk will be held both Friday and Saturday night! Walk through the candle lit village and visit our pioneer volunteers in their cozy 19th century cabins. For a small fee, enjoy carriage rides, crafts, hot drinks, and sweet treats.
Fri Dec 6. 5 pm-8pm. Free Carriage Rides in Cloverdale, IN. Cloverdale Main Street will host FREE Carriage rides through town again this year! Come early and get some hot chocolate and cookies! We will also have carolers singing for your listening pleasure!
Sat Dec 6, 7, and 8.The Journey: A LIVING PROGRESSIVE DRAMA LEADING UP TO THE BIRTH OF JESUS at First Christian Church in Brazil. You’re invited to step into 1st century Bethlehem, meet the people, and visit the market place. See the Roman soldiers, the scribes, the animals, and the shepherds (yes the animals will be live). Hear the angels, visit the Wise Men, and encounter many others along the way to Mary, Joseph, and baby Jesus. December 6th, 7th, and 8th will all have the same production from 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm. Feel free to join us once any of these nights or come back again and again for an amazing experience.Parking will be at Grace Chapel. A bus will come to pick people up and drop them off. Grace Chapel is west on 40 after the stoplight. FREE!
Sat Dec 6, 7, 8.Back to Bethlehem Live Nativity at Putnamville Baptist Church. Come experience the true story of Christmas! Enjoy live music, live animals, food and beverages, and tours about the birth of our Savior.
Sat Dec 7. 4-9 pm. Visit the Grinch from 4pm-9pm in Clay City Pizza Gallery party room. You are welcome to take your own pictures.
Sat Dec 7. 6-8 pm.Santa is stopping in at Shewey’s in Honey Creek Mall for one night only! We will be creating a beautiful “Santa & Me” handprint plate. Santa will offer his hand print and his help in creating these beautiful keepsake plates! Santa will also be reading “Twas the Night Before Christmas” and taking photos! There will also be a “decorate your own cookie” bar to add a sweet treat. $30.
Sat Dec 7. Baby’s First Christmas at The Open Door. The Open Door is hosting our 2nd annual “Baby’s 1st Christmas” event on Saturday, December 7, 2019. This is a FREE event! Each baby will receive a Christmas gift. While supplies last. There will be a photo op, crafts, giveaways, and more!

Sat Dec 7. 10:00 a.m. 5th Annual Holiday Craft & Vendor Fair! in Clinton. Come and have fun finding unique Christmas gifts, and warm up with some of James’ Famous Chili that you can get to go, or sit down and enjoy right here with your shopping buddies! Free entry.
Sat Dec 7. 1:00 p.m. Christmas Fun at the Woods at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods. There will be activities, crafts, cookie-decorating, face painting, wagon rides, a holiday sing-a-long and more! $5 per person. Children 3 and under are free.
Sat Dec 7. Santa Claus is coming to Clinton, IN. The annual Santa parade will be held on Saturday December 7th at 5:00PM. The South Vermillion High School Band will put on a small performance at the tennis court area. The South Vermillion Choir will be caroling at the Community Center at the end of the parade! The parade will end at the Community Center with cookies and a visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus!
Sat Dec 7.Saturday with Santa at Clinton Public Library. Join us for hourly story time & caroling with Santa, cookie decorating provided by Casey’s General Store, and crafts in the Children, Junior Department & 2nd Floor Balcony. Make sure to stop by the front desk for a free Christmas book! Bring your own camera for photos.
Sun Dec 8.Cookies with Santa at Little Bear Coffee Co. 12pm to 5pm to host a special meet and greet with Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus, and their happy elf. This is a FREE event that will be open to the public. A donation of a canned good(s) is encouraged to take pictures with Santa. There will be no photographer, please feel free to take your own pictures. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be there from 2pm-4pm.
Sun Dec 8. 10 am-5 pm. House of the Christmas Mouse. Tri Kappa’s House of the Christmas Mouse is open to families with young children. Admission is $2 per person – tickets are sold at the door. Families can visit several rooms of activities including: making reindeer food, crafts, decorating cookies, dancing, visiting our talking tree, shopping in our secret buying room and photos with Mrs. Mouse. We also have a huge bakery filled with homemade treats made by our members and Mrs. Mouse’s kitchen for a bite to eat. You can watch a Christmas movie and enjoy some popcorn. We also have 2 bounce houses for lots of fun.
