March 30: 10:00 a.m. Chick Fil A Easter Egg Hunt. (Note: this event was rescheduled from the originally planned date of March 24.)

March 30. Free Easter Egg Hunt At Bogey’s Family Fun Center. 2:00 p.m. for ages 2 to 4 and 8 to 9. 3 p.m. hunt for ages 5 to 7 and 10 to 12. All eggs have candy, toys, or larger prizes.

March 30. 7:30-10:30 p.m. Flashlight Egg Hunt for teenagers. Youth ages 12-18 welcome! Bring your own flashlight and join Highland-Church for a flashlight egg hunt in West Terre Haute!

March 31: 1:00- 3:00 p.m. Family Easter Egg Hunt at Maryland Community Church at the Hwy 46 Campus. Easter is nearly upon us! Which means it’s time to hunt some eggs! We are creating an awesome opportunity for families from all campuses to come together for an Easter celebration and Egg Hunt.. We’ll have bounce houses, snacks, an Egg Hunt, and opportunities to take family selfies with the Easter bunny. Let us know you are coming by pre-registering below! No age restrictions – fun for the whole family! For more information contact Jim Pendleton at jimp@mccth.org. Volunteers are also needed for the day of the event.

March 31. Eggsciting Easter Egg Hunt at Dahnke’s Pine Patch in Martinsville, Illinois. Coop maze, face painting, egg train, Easter bunny pictures, concession stand. $8 each includes all activities. (Note: this event has been moved from the original date of March 24.)

March 31. Easter Egg Hunt at Terre Haute Skate World. Poppy and Branch will be making appearances during the Easter Egg Hunt! Be here at 10:00 A.M. EDT to assemble and receive instructions. Stay and skate with us afterward during KIDS’ DAY from 1:00 P.M. EDT – 3:30 P.M. EDT! Skate session is ONLY $3.50 per person and non-skating parents/grandparents are always welcome to watch for free! Skate Mates and Rental Skates are available for rental if needed.

March 31: 3:00 p.m. Easter Egg Hunt at West Vigo Elementary School. Presented by Westside Hometown Holidays Committee. Ages 0-12 years old.

March 31. The West Vigo community is invited to a public Easter Egg Hunt at the Emmanuel Methodist Church on Saturday, March 31, at 2:00 pm. All children, parents, and families are invited to meet in the Community Life Center behind the church. Weather permitting, the hunt will take place outside. If the weather is bad, it will be moved indoors. There will be prizes and free snacks, as well. There will also be a Special Needs Easter Egg hunt at 1:00 pm. Everyone is invited to come and celebrate Easter.

March 31: 10:00 a.m. Easter Eggstravaganza! at Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church. Come join us for our annual Easter Eggstravaganza at Mt. Pleasant Church on Saturday, March 31 from 10:00-11:30a.m. for infants to 4th graders and their families! Festivities will begin in our Worship Center for our Easter FX (family experience) with lively music and a crazy show with an unforgettable message! The egg hunt will then follow outside on our playground area, weather permitting, otherwise we will have the hunt inside in multiple areas. Special bags will be given to each child to use for the hunt! Then we’ll end in the fellowship center with refreshments. There will be LOTS of prizes, THOUSANDS of eggs, and LOADS of fun!

March 31. Montezuma Eggstravaganza 2018. 25 miles from Terre Haute in Montezuma. Inflatables, games, Easter bunny pictures, lunch, and egg hunts. Open to children and families from Parke and Vermillion counties.

March 31. Hoppy Easter at Fresh Thyme. Bring the kids to participate in our fun Easter Egg Hunt which will start when we open the store at 7:00 am-supplies last! Each Easter egg found with one sticker on it = $10 toward a same day purchase! PLUS, there will be ONE lucky egg with TWO stickers on it that can win your family a $50 Fresh Thyme gift card! In addition, we’ll have a coloring contest and food sampling! See you on next Saturday, March 31 from 11 – 2 PM at Fresh Thyme!

March 31. Easter Egg Hunt at Shakamak State Park. Ever wondered what it is like to hunt for 4,000 eggs? Join us to find out. Community partners will be raffling off bikes and baskets will be after the egg hunt. The Easter Bunny will be in attendance for photos. The hunt will begin exactly at 10am sharp. Please park in the pool parking lot and stand around the marked boundary for your chance at the eggs. There will be a separate area for children 2 and under. (Note: this hunt has been rescheduled from the original March 24 date.) 

March 31. Easter Egg hunt at Robe Ann Park. 45 miles from Terre Haute in Greencastle, Indiana. Annual Easter Egg hunt is just around the corner and we have 7,000 eggs filled with candy, toys and redemption tickets for awesome prizes! Children 1-11 years old will have the opportunity to search Robe-Ann Park starting at 10 a.m. on March 24th! Note: this event has been rescheduled from the original March 24 date. 

April 1. Easter at Highland Church. Easter service! Egg hunt following service for all kids ages 12 and under.

April 7. Eggscelent Easter Adventure at Rockville Lake Park. Ages 1-4 will begin at 12pm followed by ages 5-12 at 12:30pm. (Note: this has been rescheduled from the original date of March 24 due to the weather forecast.)

April 7. Easter Egg Hunt. 25 miles from Terre Haute in Rockville, IN. Free annual community event held at Rockville Nursing and Rehab with tons of prizes donated by vendors and local business in the community, over 1,000 eggs hidden for various age groups! (Note: this has been rescheduled from the original March 24 date.)

Easter Activities in Terre Haute

 

The fun has ended for these great events:

March 17. Beta Sigma Phi Easter Egg Hunt in Edgar County. Age groups include 2 and under, 3 and 4, 5 and 6, and 7 and 8.

March 17. The French Family will again be partnering with the Clay County YMCA for our 10th Annual Easter Egg Hunt! The Easter egg hunt times are as follows: ages 0-4 are at 3 p.m., ages 5-8 hunt at 4 p.m., and ages 9-12 hunt at 5 p.m. Prizes are TBD.If you have any questions, call 446-2206.

March 24: 2:00 p.m. Easter Egg Hunt at Deming Park. Join us for our annual Easter Egg Hunt. Ages 2-4 will be split into smaller groups for hunts. Hunts will begin at 2:00 pm. Ages 5-7 & 8-10 will begin their hunt at 2:30 pm. For questions call 812-232-0147. The Deming hunt has been canceled due to weather. 

March 24. Eggstravaganza at First Southern Baptist Church of Terre Haute. Egg hunts, bounce houses, games, crafts, and lots of prizes for children ages 1 through 5th grade. Eggstravaganza is a rain or shine or snow event. All games and bounce houses will be indoors. Hope to see you at 2:30!

March 24. Community Easter Egg Hunt at North High School. Over 25,000 eggs to be found! Lots of prizes including bikes and toys. 4 Egg Hunts (0-2, 3-pre-k, 5-7, 8-11) , carnival games, inflatables, food/drinks. ALL FOR FREE! The first hunt begins at 11:15, and registration begins at 10:00 am. Be there early to get registered and ready for your hunt.  The plans had to change a little bit. The location has been changed due to the weather. It will be inside at Remnant Church. We have a big gymnasium in the back and a big auditorium in the front. Registration will start at 10 a.m. There will be 4 egg hunts. (0 to 2 egg hunt begins at 11:15am. 3 to pre-k egg hunt begins at 12:30pm. 5 to 7 year old egg hunt begins at 1:30 p.m. 8 to 11 year old egg hunt begins at 2:15.) If you have kids in the older egg hunts, you can come a half hour before there egg hunt to register! Everything will be mostly the same except the location and timing. 800 E Haythorne Ave

March 24. 9:30 a.m. The Easter Bunny is hopping over to Towne Park Assisted Living and Exceptional Living Center of Brazil. The Easter Bunny will arrive at 9:30 a.m. Be sure to have your photo taken with the Easter Bunny before the egg hunt gets underway at 10 a.m.! Rain or shine! 

March 24. 10:00 a.m. Join United Methodist Temple for a fun-filled day with story time, crafts, and an Easter egg hunt. This hunt will take place as planned! All activities will be inside. 

March 24. Snacks, crafts, pictures with the Easter bunny, and an Easter egg hunt held at the Cobblestone Crossings Apartments Clubhouse. 7020 Clubhouse Ln. Rain or shine! 

March 25: 2:00 p.m. Egg Hunt at Union Christian Church. UCC Kids are having an egg hunt! If the weather is nice, we will have it outside. If the weather is bad, we will have it inside. Let’s meet in the gym to get started. This event is open to preschoolers thru Grade 5. A parent or guardian must stay with a preschooler. In addition to a fun egg hunt, we will listen to an Easter story and make a craft to go along with it. Refreshments will also be served. Make plans to bring the kids! (In case of rain, the fun will be moved indoors.)

March 25. Easter Egg Hunt and Lunch at North Terre Haute Christian Church. Join us for an awesome carry in lunch and Easter Egg Hunt. There will be lots of treats and prizes. There will be a few NEW BIKES there to be won! Hope you will join us!

March 25.  Easter Celebration at Northside Community United Methodist Church. For all kids- babies to 5th grade! Festivities will begin in the sanctuary with lively music and an awesome lesson! The egg hunt will then take place outside. After the hunt, a free dinner will be served inside. There will be lots of prizes, thousands of eggs, free food, and loads of fun for everyone!

March 25. Faithworks Egg-Stravaganza at MARSHALL (Illinois) First Christian Church. Free fun for ages 0-12. Please register in advance.
