St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Terre Haute

Each year, St. Patrick School hosts an awesome St. Patrick’s Day parade, and the community is invited to attend!

Due to weather concerns, the parade was postponed until March 19, 2022!

Mark your calendar for the 2021 parade for March 12!

The St. Patrick’s Day Parade starts at 1:00 pm and runs from 26th and Ohio to 19th and Ohio, then to 19th and Poplar.

If you’d like to join the fun earlier in the day, the school community also hosts the 19th Annual Irish Dash on Saturday, March 12th in Terre Haute. The race is a growing community tradition during the local St. Patrick celebration festivities. The event will feature a 5K race, 5K walk, and 1 mile fun run.

For our family, the St. Patrick’s Day parade comes at just the right time. We’ve been stuck inside for winter, and we need an excuse to go outside.

The day begins with the Irish Dash; Fun Run and 5k beginning at 9am.

The Parade (beginning at Corporate Square and heading west down Ohio, ending at St. Patrick School) kick’s off at 1pm. The day will wrap with the Dueling Pianos Event at 8pm.

Whether you’re Irish or not, all are welcome to experience this family-friendly fun!

Proceeds benefit the St. Patrick School Class of 2023 educational trip to Washington D.C. $20 per fun run participant and $25 per 5k participant. Entry fee includes: technical shirt, food, door prizes, entertainment, awards, and chipped timing by Timing MD. There will be no refunds.
