Haunted Events and Haunted Houses in Terre Haute

{NEW in 2018!} The Scream. Are you ready to SCREAM?! The Main Event in Terre Haute is going to have a HAUNTED maze, ZOMBIE paintball, HAYRIDES, PAINTBALL arcade, and refreshments FRIDAYS & SATURDAYS all October long!

Castle Lorey.¬†FREE admission! Please consider ¬†a non-perishable pet or people food donation. This year they’re hoping to gather one can of food per person! Can you help them meet this goal? 1815 S. 29th. Terre Haute.

“Bones Family Graveyard.” In the past, this house was famous for its Christmas lights. But now this family seems to have turned its attention to Halloween decorations. Approximate address: 29th and Hulman in Terre Haute. (Note: Not a haunted house! Just impressive decor.)

Shadow Asylum.949 North 10th St. Terre Haute.  Open Fridays and Saturdays in October from 7 p.m.-midnight. Plus Halloween. Due to remodeling, Shadow Asylum will not be open to the public for the 2018 Season. We look forward making 2019 more intense than you have ever experienced!

Haunted Halloween Happenings at Deming Park. Haunted train rides, haunted hayrides, and (new this year!) a haunted house. October 26 and 27. 7:30-10:00 p.m.

Oct 6, 13, 19, 20, 26. 27, 30. Haunted History Walking Tour of Downtown Terre Haute, IN. $17. During this 90 minute tour, we will be exploring the haunted history of Downtown Terre Haute. We will visit the haunts of ISU, a former gallows, a subterranean graveyard and other spooky spots.

Sat Oct 20. 6:30 p.m. BeWitching Ball. Hosted by Wabash Activity Center and Eddie & The Motivators Tickets start at $35. For the price of the ticket you get you get hosted keg beer, free appetizers, chance to enter in the costume contest. We will have a 50/50, silent auction, raffle items, wine pull and a pumpkin decorating contest.

Halls of Madness¬†and Devious Toys. Two haunts at one location. 30 miles from Terre Haute in Paris, IL.¬†This haunted attraction has been one of central Illinois’ favorite scare spots for the last 14 years.

Linton Frightmares Haunted House.  Friday and Saturday nights in October. Regular Ticket Р$10. Child Ticket Р$8 (10 Years & Younger). 43.5 miles from Terre Haute in Linton, IN.

Haunted Trailz. October 26, 27, 28. $5 per person. 52 miles from Terre Haute in Covington, IN.

Haunted Jail. October 5 and 6. 52 miles from Terre Haute in Covington, IN.

Haunted Village.  94 miles from Terre Haute in Spring Mill State Park. Join Spring Mill for our annual Haunted Village! October 13th will be filled with scares and horror as you take a spooky tour through the Pioneer Village! NO flashlights are allowed. Not recommended for children under 8!

The Haunted Mansion in French Lick, Indiana.  Located in the historic Beechwood Mansion (114 miles from Terre Haute) right on the boulevard in French Lick! The Haunted Mansion is open Sunday through Thursday from 6pm to 8pm and Friday through Saturday 6pm to 9pm/ Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under. Haunted Events in the Wabash Valley Beyond Terre Haute

Dead Zone Radio Show Paranormal 101 and Investigative Tour.October 6.¬†Join the Dead Zone on October 6 for an inside look at conducting a successful (Bare Bones) paranormal investigation. We’ll cover research techniques, equipment, setup, investigation and review procedures, and much more. This is your chance at a crash course in investigating, and get some hands on experience as we guide you through an actual investigation at one of the most haunted locations in Indiana. 168 miles from Terre Haute in Winchester, IN. Haunted Hike and Hayride in Mattoon, Illinois. October 26-27. Can you feel the tingles on the back of your neck and the goosebumps on your arms? It‚Äôs the Nature Center‚Äôs most anticipated event: Haunted Hike!¬†Visitors will hike our trails led by a guide through costumes characters, creepy creatures, and unexpected twists! After jumps and screams, visitors will be treated to a hayride back to the center. Very young children are encouraged to join guided hikes during our daylight hours (5:30-6:15pm). Hikes leave every 5 minutes! This is a great family event and fun for all.¬†Before heading out on your hike, stop by for popcorn, cider, and s’more kits to roast on the campfire outdoors! And yes, you can return to the campfire AFTER your hike as well!
