On Friday, October 29th from 7:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., the VCPRD will be offering a haunted Halloween tour through Fowler Park Pioneer Village! Participants will meet at the Fowler Park Log Barn and will be guided through the village if they dare! Ghosts and ghouls lurk around every corner!
Friday, October 29.Trick or treating at Sewer Lair Toys. Bring in your little ones dressed up in their favorite Halloween Costume on Friday October 29th from 6:30pm-7:30pm for trick-or-treating. They will be giving out full size candy bars! Yes, that is correct, FULL SIZE CANDY BARS! No purchase necessary. Limit 1 per child.
Friday, October 29.Spooktacular fix-a-flat clinic with J’s Bikes. Join a FREE Halloween Fix A Flat Clinic. Discuss how to identify the causes of flats, how to patch and replace tubes, and how to take off a tire, check for damage and replace it. Please bring your bike or one wheel with the tire on it. This clinic is for beginners and experienced riders.
Friday, October 29.Trunk or Treat at Full Gospel Assembly of God. Full Gospel will host its annual Trunk or Treat on Friday, October 29th from 6 PM – 8 PM. There will be food, a cake walk, hayride, and lots of candy. Lots of fun for the whole family.
Saturday, October 30.No tricks, just treats at Cannonball Harley-Davidson. Sunday, October 31.Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church Trunk or Treat. Join a family fun alternative to trick or treating at Mount Pleasant Church on October 31 from 5-7pm. Put on your costumes, drive thru in your vehicle, and get treats galore! Participants will enter the parking lot from our Sidenbender Rd. entrance, and then exit onto Davis Dr. after driving thru the parade of trunks and receiving their treats.
Sunday, October 31.Halloween Tea Party. Join Cotton Chaos for a spooky good time! They’re having a Halloween Tea Party with games, snacks, costume contest, and of course tea! Dress up in your best costume and get ready for a scary great time. Each ticket includes access to games, snacks, candy bag, and a regular cone or container of Halloween cotton candy! Friday, October 15.Pumpkin Carving Contest. Join the VCPRD Friday, October 15th from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Dogwood Shelter in Hawthorn Park for a Pumpkin Carving Contest! Pumpkins and carving implements will be provided to participants. All participants under the age of 13 must be supervised by an adult at all times and will require parental supervision during all carving- and scooping-related activities. Registration is required for this event and there is a $5 registration fee that can be paid upon arrival at the park. Please register by the registration deadline, Wednesday, October 13th by 4 p.m.
