St. Patrick’s Day Cooking Class for Kids in Terre Haute

Terre Haute Events for Kids--St. Patrick's Day Cooking Class

Our last giveaway winner had a fantastic time with her kiddo at the cooking class. I know, I know–you’re a little bit jealous that you didn’t win. It’s okay. You have another chance! The response to the last giveaway was so great that Clabber Girl has offered to partner with Haute Happenings to give away another ticket–this time to the St. Patrick’s Day Cooking Class for Kids!

Cooking Class for Kids at Clabber Girl

March 5, 2014

4:30-6:00 p.m.

The kiddos will be working with Chef Brittany Molinder to make:

Irish Stew

Soda Bread

“Colcannon” Irish style mashed potatoes

Shamrock Drop Cookies

This is a hands-on cooking class for kids (suggested ages 7-12).  They ask that parents who wish to remain on site during the class wait in the Rex Room (adjacent to the classroom).  If parents choose to leave during the class, please re-enter through the Classroom Kitchen door at the north end of the building.

Tickets are $20 and you can purchase them through this Eventbrite link.

This giveaway ends Sunday (March 2) night. Monday, March 3 is the final day to purchase tickets, but there’s always a chance the class will fill up sooner.

As always, I need your help with promotion. If you know someone who has trouble finding things to do with kids in Terre Haute, please send them to this page, tell them about the cooking class, and insist that they enter the giveaway.

One last thing: I’m THRILLED with the way our Haute Happenings facebook page is growing. However, facebook likes to limit the updates you see from us. Please be sure to check our event calendar and subscribe to email updates to be sure you’re notified of new posts. Subscribing via email is the best way to be certain you’re getting our updates!

Okay, enough of my rambling. A few clicks is all it takes for you to enter the giveaway. May the luck of the Irish help you win!
