Make your own pizza creation when KIDS EAT FREE at Azzip Pizza!
If you follow Haute Happenings on facebook then you’ve probably heard that Haute Happenings is helping to host an awesome event on July 19th with our newest sponsor, Azzip Pizza!
For one day and one day only, your kiddos have the chance to EAT FOR FREE at Azzip Pizza AND make their own pizza creations!
Throughout the day on July 19th, your child can receive one FREE kid’s meal (pizza, cookie, and drink) for each adult pizza purchase. If you have multiple kids, you may want to bring along a babysitter, aunt, grandma, or spouse for additional adult purchases and more free kids’ meals!
As an added bonus, there will be some extra-special fun happening during lunchtime.
From 11:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m., kids who participate in the kids eat free promotion will be given their own pizza-making materials!
Each child will get a silver pan with dough.
Next they’ll be handed sauce in a cup and cheese.
Finally, kids can choose their meats and take their supplies to the “Make It” table! Once their creation is complete, their pizzas are baked along with their adults’ pizza selections.
Our friends at Chambanamoms.com recently hosted a similar event in Champaign-Urbana and had tons of fun with their local families!
Although the kids eat free offer is available all day, another reason to come between 11:00 and 2:00 is that HauteHappenings.com will be hanging out the store passing out door prizes (Wikki Stix! Watercolor paints! Rainbow slime!) to the first 100 kids and registering adults to win one of our two grand prize packages.
Our first grand prize is a “Water Blast” package. It includes a wigglin’ water sprinkler, goggles, pool rings, an Azzip Pizza gift card, and pool passes! To win, all you have to do is share a picture of your family at the Azzip event to our “Kids Eat Free at Azzip Pizza” event page or the Haute Happenings facebook wall! This giveaway closes at the end of the day on July 21st. Winners must claim their prize within 24 hours and pick up their package from the Terre Haute Azzip store.
The second grand prize is an “Oh So Haute” gift card package that includes entertainment, a sweet treat, and (of course!) Azzip Pizza. To enter, simply sign in with your email address at the Azzip event. By signing in, you’re also registering for the Haute Happenings email list. This means you’ll be the first to hear when we publish new posts, AND you automatically become one of our favorite readers. We love our email friends! If you win, you’ll be contacted via email and your prize will be mailed to your home.
Now that you’re hopefully pumped about this event, what are you supposed to do while you wait for the 19th?! One suggestion is to be sure to select “going” on our facebook event page so you don’t miss any updates and reminders.
You could also check out Azzip Pizza’s awesome origin story. Did you know that the founder is a Purdue grad with a genuine love for pizza? He writes, “I was legitimately passionate about pizza. I would spend hours on pizza blogs reading recipes and seeing what other people were doing.I would research different ingredients and specialty pizzas and where I could find them near me. I would take hours out of my day to prep for a pizza party that I only got partially covered by everyone throwing in some cash (football players are big eaters). It’s hard to explain, but deep down I knew this could work.”
Also, you may have noticed that Azzip is “pizza” spelled backwards. There’s a story behind that too! You can read about the name, the $20,000 start-up cash that came from winning a business competition, and the role the Purdue football team played in the creation of this business on the Azzip Pizza website.
