DIY Gift for Dad
If you have five minutes and some of your toddler/child’s artwork, you can make this simple giftΒ and turn it into a beautiful display for Daddy’s office, man cave, or even your living room.
I wish I could claim this idea as my own, but I found the tutorial and template over at Lovely Design. Check it out and tell her I sent ya!
I had a super huge frame and mat, so I embellished our print with pictures. Picmonkey is letting me try their Royale features, so I simply dumped a bunch of pictures into their collage tool. I resized to 8 1/2 x 11 and printed on cardstock.
I then cut the pictures into smaller pieces and taped them to the artwork.
Add the frame, and you’re done! Easy, peasy.
The hardest part will be hiding it from Daddy until we’re ready to give it to him!
What’s the best homemade gift you’ve ever helped your kids make for their daddy?
Mamaw’s birthday is coming soon π
love how this turned out!
Thanks, Jaime! It looks even better in person–I was shocked by how something so simple could be so meaningful. π
Okay, that is so cute! What a great idea. π And thanks for including my Father’s Day roundup.
