Teens are great! They are entering that stage of life where they are learning how to be independent, they want to have fun, they are creative, they have ideas and opinions and they are teeming with excitement and energy (when they aren\u2019t sleeping, that is). Channeling that excitement and energy into positive activities means happy teens AND parents! That\u2019s why we have compiled this list of teen-based entertainment options in Terre Haute and the Wabash Valley. Check out these local favorites!<\/span><\/p>\n

25 Things for Teenagers to Do in Terre Haute<\/h2>\n

  1. At $10\/person, you can\u2019t beat this one-of-a-kind experience seeing just under 200 big cats in Center Point, Indiana at the <\/span>Exotic Feline Rescue Center<\/a><\/b>.\"Things<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. For indoor, competitive fun, try laser tag with a group of friends at <\/span>X-Treme Lazer Tag<\/b>.<\/span><\/a><\/li>\n
  3. The <\/span>Vigo County Public Library<\/a><\/b> has a whole host of programs for teens! They have everything from coding to gaming to escape rooms to a Fandom Prom! (Can I go to this, please?)!<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. Is your teen crafty? <\/span>Charm School<\/a><\/b> might be the perfect activity! Charm School is a great group activity where your teen can choose the colors and style for their creations.<\/span><\/li>\n
  5. Is your teen complaining about being bored? Send them to <\/span>Deming Park<\/b>! They can play Frisbee Golf (check out Crossroads Disc Golf Club <\/a>for more info), take snaps with the graffiti wall, hike some trails or channel their inner child and play on the playground. \"Things<\/span><\/li>\n
  6. Do you have an art lover? <\/span>The Swope Art Museum<\/b> is absolutely free and has some amazing inspiration, right here in Terre Haute. The Swope Education Center also hosts FREE Second Saturday Studio <\/a>programs.<\/span><\/li>\n
  7. Is your teen steady on a skateboard? Drive over to the skate park at <\/span>Voorhees Park<\/b>!<\/span><\/li>\n

    My favorite cat at the @exotic_feline_rescue_center was definitely King, the lion. But I did feel a special connection to the hypothyroid tiger who has very low energy and gains weight uncontrollably. The hypothyroid struggle is real, man. #efrc<\/a><\/p>\n
