Terre Haute Halloween in 2019<\/h2>\n

The Wabash Valley\u00a0loves Halloween. In fact, we love it so much that we have TWO nights of official city trick or treating (click HERE for dates and times).<\/a>\u00a0On top of that, several local organizations host amazing (and mostly free) Halloween events! You can find all sorts of seasonal fun in this\u00a02019 guide to Halloween in Terre Haute including pumpkin parties, not-so-spooky fun, and trunk or treat in Terre Haute and the Wabash Valley. This guide is constantly being updated throughout the month of October, so check back often and let us know if there’s something we missed!<\/p>\n

Halloween Week Events for Terre Haute Area<\/h2>\n

Tues Oct 29.<\/strong> Frights Night at the ISU bookstore.<\/a>\u00a0Join us for an extra spooky time at the ISU Bookstore! We have all kinds of ghoulish things to do, and they’re all FREE! We’ll be having a boxing ring, a selfie station, poke-a-pumpkin (with your choice of school supplies, discounts, or candy as prizes), face in a cookie, spooky coloring, a tic tac toe station, as well as a skull hunt on campus (prize list TBA). Hot chocolate and popcorn are free for the event as well. We’ll also be having a pumpkin decorating contest with frighteningly good prizes!<\/p>\n

Tues Oct 29.\u00a0<\/strong>9:30 a.m.\u00a0Tot Time: Pumpkin Science at\u00a0Terre Haute Children’s Museum.\u00a0Beware! This is going to get messy!\u00a0Tot Time is an interactive, educational program for children ages 2-5 and their caregiver.\u00a0Registration required. Included in admission.<\/p>\n

Tues Oct 29.<\/strong> 6:30 -8 pm. Trick or Treat with Harrison’s Crossing.\u00a0<\/a>Calling all goblins and ghouls! Throw on your best costume, grab a treat basket, and head to our spooktacular event. Attendees will enjoy a night of wicked fun with our residents.<\/p>\n

Tues Oct 29.<\/strong> 6:00-8:00 pm. Community Trunk or Treat at Cobblestone Crossings Health Campus.\u00a0<\/a>Calling all goblins and ghouls! Throw on your best costume, grab a treat basket and join us for our spooktacular event! In our Villa Community, attendees will enjoy Trunk-or-Treating, and refreshments will be available in our Haunted Clubhouse!<\/p>\n

Tues Oct 29.\u00a0<\/strong>6:00 p.m.\u00a0Griffin Bike Park Short Track Series.<\/a>\u00a0Tuesday night racing! On our new and ever changing short track. Want to try racing bikes? Or just come out and have a good time. This is the series for you!\u00a0Halloween theme with prizes for best costumes. $10 registration fee.<\/p>\n

Wed Oct 30 and Thur Oct 31.<\/strong> Halloween Tree at American Rental in Terre Haute.<\/a>\u00a0We will have a Halloween Tree with candy for any Trick or Treaters that DARE to stop by for a SCARE!<\/p>\n

Wed Oct 30.<\/strong> Trunk or Treat at Once Upon a Child.<\/a>\u00a0Once Upon A Child Terre Haute is hosting its first Trunk or Treat!\u00a06-8p.\u00a0Get treats from area businesses & see Chase and Marshall from Paw Patrol!<\/p>\n

Wed Oct 30.<\/strong>\u00a05:00 p.m.\u00a0Community Trunk or Treat<\/a> at\u00a0Forest Park in Brazil, IN.\u00a0<\/strong>This is a community wide trunk or treat event. We will have games, entertainment, food, pictures and of course candy.<\/p>\n

It’s Survivors VS Zombies to capture the cure!<\/p>\n

Oct 26.<\/strong> 2 pm-3:30 p.m. Trick or Treat Festival hosted by Emmanuel United Methodist Church in West Terre Haute.\u00a0<\/a>The community is invited to come to a Trick or Treat Festival on Saturday, October 26th, from 2:00 – 3:30 pm, in the Community Life Center at the Emmanuel Church, 6056 US 150 in West Vigo, Indiana. Kids are welcome to dress up in the favorite costumes and come to a safe and caring environment for some trick or treating. There will be some games to play, pictures to take, and some snacks to eat. It will be a chance to mingle with other kids and young families in the community. The game room with ping pong, foosball, air hockey, and card and board games will be open as well.<\/p>\n

Sun Oct 27.\u00a0<\/strong>5:00 p.m.\u00a0Trunk or Treat and Family Fest<\/a> at Terre Haute First Church of the Nazarene.\u00a0This event is hosted in a partnership between THFN and the Wabash Valley Habitat for Humanity! There will be vehicles decorated for trunk or treaters, games, and free food for the family!<\/p>\n

Sun Oct 27.<\/strong>\u00a0Trunk or Treat and Free Movie at the Moon Lite Drive-In Theater<\/a> hosted by Wabash Valley Jeep Junkies and Terre Town PTO<\/a>! Gates open at 4:30 to the public, 4:00 for Jeep Junkies. Trunk or Treat from 5 to 7pm, and the free movie (Casper) follows at 7:15!<\/p>\n

Sun Oct 27.<\/strong> Trunk or Treat hosted by Memorial United Methodist Church.\u00a0<\/a>*If weather is unsuitable for the children to be outside it will be held in the fellowship hall and narthex<\/p>\n

Mon Oct 28.\u00a0<\/strong>5:00 p.m. Chik Fil A Halloween Party.\u00a0Wear a costume, activities, treat bags, online best costume competition.\u00a0We are going to post photos of the kids that want to participate and come to the event online. The photo with the most votes\/likes will receive a Chick-fil-A basket of goodies.<\/p>\n

Mon Oct 28.\u00a0<\/strong>5:30 p.m. Vigo County CASA Trunk or Treat.\u00a0Vigo County North Parking Annex. Dirt track and drag strip heroes will be in attendance with their cars and drivers signing autographs! Kona Ice, Hobo Junction, the petting zoo and walking trivia will be taking place this year!
