It’s no secret that I don’t like winter in the Midwest. Call me a\u00a0wimp, but I just don’t like being cold<\/em>! Even so, I can’t stay inside the house for long. That’s why I’ve put together this calendar of things to do this winter with kids in Terre Haute and the Wabash Valley. Let’s make the most of our chilly winter and slushy spring together!<\/p>\n

Today the entire atrium of the biggest church in town was PACKED with baby swings, maternity gear, strollers, chapter books, shoes, winter coats\/snow pants\/hats, toys (so many toys) and (of course) clothes. The best part? Everything was FREE for the taking! The awesomeness of these community swaps cannot be overstated. #hautehappenings<\/a><\/p>\n
