Today I get to introduce you to one of my local friends\u00a0who is always<\/em> sending me tips for fun things to do and fabulous\u00a0places to visit in Terre Haute — Leslie Wright.\u00a0If anyone knows how to squeeze in as much Terre Haute fun as possible, it’s Leslie. And if you’ve been to any Terre Haute events for kids and families, you’ve probably bumped into Leslie. So to kick off summer in Terre Haute (and the lovely cities surrounding us in the Wabash Valley), I asked Leslie if she would share her Summer Bucket List.<\/p>\n

  2. Watch a Drive-In movie at Cinema 67<\/a> in Spencer, Indiana<\/li>\n
  3. Go Fishing at Maple Avenue Nature Park<\/a><\/li>\n
  4. Take a paddle boat ride at Shakamak State Park<\/a><\/li>\n
  5. Catch fireflies<\/li>\n
  6. Make sno-cones (find\u00a0an easy, three-ingredient recipe HERE<\/a>)<\/li>\n
  7. Visit the Wabash Valley Railroaders Museum<\/a><\/li>\n
  8. Attend a Rex baseball game\"Places<\/li>\n

  17. Have a treat at Green Acres Dairy Barn<\/li>\n

  20. Take the\u00a0dog to play at the new Bark Park<\/a><\/li>\n
  21. Splash at Tiger Falls Splash Park in Paris, IL<\/a><\/li>\n
  22. Camp at Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park, Bloomington, Indiana\"Jellystone<\/a><\/li>\n
  23. Join the summer reading program at the Vigo County Public Library<\/li>\n
  24. Go roller\u00a0skating<\/li>\n
  25. Cool off at\u00a0Freedom Springs Water Park in Greenwood<\/li>\n
  26. Picnic and observe waterfall at Markle Mill Dam<\/li>\n
  27. Play putt putt golf at Bogey\u2019s Family Fun<\/a><\/li>\n
  28. Learn to find constellations by attending a program at The John C. Hook Memorial Observatory<\/a><\/li>\n
  29. Free tennis lessons.<\/a><\/li>\n
