When the weather cooperates, people who live in Terre Haute find plenty of things to do outdoors. We have great parks, trails, and outdoor play areas! But when it’s too cold, snowy, rainy, or hot to stay outside, families sometimes have trouble finding good\u00a0indoor<\/em>\u00a0entertainment options. That’s why we’ve compiled a list of the best indoor places to play\u00a0and indoor entertainment options for\u00a0the Terre Haute area! Check out these local favorites.<\/p>\n

1.) Put on your skates and take a trip to Terre Haute Skate World or the Wigwam Skate Rink<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

2.) Get your bounce on at Bouncin’ Barn or Strikerz Play Land<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

3.) Bowl a few games at Vigo Bowl or Terre Haute Bowling Center.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

4.)\u00a0Feeling like a Ninja warrior? You’ll love Ivy Fit! Ivy Fit<\/a> is an American Ninja Warrior training facility for all ages. They have 3 separate courses: kids, balance, and adult.<\/p>\n

5.) Let the kids play while you eat at Chick Fil A Terre Haute.<\/strong> Families are encouraged to join the CFA team for family night and special events throughout the year.<\/p>\n

6) Clabber Girl<\/strong> is definitely a Terre Haute\u00a0treasure.\u00a0Not only is it a great local place for breakfast or lunch, but the attached historical museum is free! Our girls love to (carefully) pretend in the grocery store and saloon.<\/p>\n

Surprising highlight of this year's Clabber Girl Country Christmas? Watching and listening to our girls sing with the carolers. Our four-year-old seems to have a natural ear for music (like her daddy) and our six-year-old loves the community that comes with singing in a group (just like me). Sometimes they're so like us it's scary.<\/a><\/p>\n
