To celebrate both Christmas and the end of our first year, we’re offering our readers four fabulous giveaways. We’re taking\u00a0the money we earned from our seasonal guides and returning it to you!<\/p>\n
For your part, we ask that you continue to share posts from Haute Happenings, have\u00a0fun with your family at local\u00a0events, interact\u00a0with us on facebook\/instagram\/twitter (it’s lonely if you don’t!), and help\u00a0spread the\u00a0word that Terre Haute is a happenin’ place! <\/strong>That’s not too much to ask, right?<\/p>\n Now, for the giveaways!<\/p>\n How many gifts do you give your kids at Christmas? Do you have a price limit or a plan?<\/p>\n For those who like a little strategy, have you heard of the simple gift giving idea where parents\u00a0give kids something they want, something they need, something to wear, and something to share? Or some people do “want, need, share, read.” That one rhymes. \ud83d\ude09 For our purposes, we’re going with “want, need, wear, share.”<\/p>\n For each of the\u00a0four\u00a0weeks leading up to Christmas, Haute Happenings will\u00a0be offering a prize package that corresponds to one of the above categories.<\/p>\n For example:<\/p>\n Something you want<\/strong>. What do you or your kids want this Christmas? Maid service, a massage, date night with your spouse, an art class? Let me know on facebook!<\/p>\n Something you need.<\/strong> This will be to help a family (or two) who has had a rough year. You can nominate yourself or anonymously nominate a friend.<\/p>\n Something to wear.<\/strong>\u00a0This is a surprise! (Moms, you’ll like this one.)<\/p>\n Something to share.<\/strong>\u00a0Two\u00a0words: family night.
