Review and Giveaway– Hold Me Close Nursing Scarf

Are you here for the giveaway? Our winners are listed in the rafflecopter widget! If you don’t see your name, I have good news. You can get 10% off one of these amazing nursing covers using code NOTHINGBUTGIVEAWAY! Valid until August 26, 2013.

A big, big thank you to all of you on our Nothing if Not Intentional facebook page who laugh at our two-year-old’s antics (I know you can relate!), sympathize with our baby sleep issues, give feedback on blog posts, and offer advice as we deal with everything from potty training to pacifiers. I love interacting with you! Thank you for joining in the conversation!

As promised, now that we’ve reached 1,000 fans, it’s time for a giveaway!

In the not-too-distant future, I’ll send one lucky reader our (current) favorite book. But today’s giveaway would be great for a nursing mom or someone needing a baby gift.

When I first saw the Hold Me Close Nursing Scarf on pinterest, I immediately went to the Stella Bella Designs Etsy page and asked Sondra if she’d send me one to review and offer one to give away. I lovedΒ the idea of the charming scarf/practical nursing cover combo!

And the real product is just as great as the idea! It is cute enough to be worn alone without a nursing baby, and there’s enough fabric that it really is a great and practical cover.

Brilliant! Nursing scarf.

I know not all nursing moms use a cover. I always used one in public with my first. But with my second, I’m no longer self-conscious. That, andΒ I’m usually too overwhelmed (or lazy) to mess with finding a clean blanket or cover to use for just 2.5 seconds before my squirmy little one decides she’d rather be entertained by the mess her sister is making in the restaurant than to bother with something as inconvenient as drinking milk. But the scarf/cover combo definitely makes it easier to at least have a bit of privacy as I adjust before, after, or during a nursing session and completely eliminates the hassle of searching for the blanket you hope you remembered to put in your diaper bag. And have I mentioned how fun it is to wear by itself?

Great baby gift idea! Scarf/nursing cover combo.

Sondra also sent me this tip:Β “The more you wash it, the softer the fabric gets. The first scarf I made is so nice and soft now! My little one likes to snuggle with it while nursing!”

Baby gift idea--nursing cover/scarf combo!

So what do you think? Want to win one for yourself, your favorite nursing friend, or an expectant mama? Lucky for you, Sondra has agreed to send TWO lucky winners one of these stylish and awesome scarves! Enter through the rafflecopter widget below.
