Win a Prize Package from Bush Garden at the Farmers’ Market

As many of you know, we’re big, big fans of the Downtown Terre Haute Farmers’ Market (you can read our “Why We Love the Farmers’ Market” post here). Part of our loyalty comes from the fact that my parents are vendors at the market. So when it came time for me to recruit sponsors for our 2,000 fan giveaway, I asked my mom if she’d be willing to provide a prize. Lucky for you, she agreed! Read on for more details about Bush Garden and to see how to win. Add text (2) Bush Gardens started as a summer hobby for two teachers. The produce (watermelons, potatoes, green beans, pumpkins, tomatoes, wild blackberries) is grown on the family farm in Parke County. The baked goods (double chocolate zucchini bread, sourdough bread, pumpkin bread) and jellies (raspberry, blackberry, strawberry) are prepared at home. The gourds (pictured above) are either painted or turned into quaint gourd birdhouses. We have birds who come to nest in ours each year! So what will our winners win? I’m so glad you asked! For his/her prize package, you can choose one of the following options (assuming the pumpkins grow according to plan!):

  • Gourd bird house
  • Extra-large pumpkin

AND one of the following options:

  • Pint of strawberry jam
  • Two loaves of sourdough bread (wheat, white, or dill)
